While it may not be the biggest machine in the lineup, it still has an impressive maximum towing capacity of 1,350 pounds with the standard 1.25" receiver. It's a great all-around ATV that can handle almost any task you throw its way without breaking the bank.

The Polaris Sportsman 570 remains a top seller among Polaris' lineup, due to its impressive towing capacity and ground clearance, its 44-horsepower ProStar engine, and its competitive pricing. It is the perfect 4x4 ATV for those looking for something in the middleweight range. Even with a thinning of the herd in regards to options, this model still offers four trims to choose from.

Polaris Sportsman Touring XP 1000

The Polaris Sportsman Touring XP 1000 Trail is the ultimate rig for those looking to spend a bit extra in exchange for an all-around beast of a machine. This trim model comes standard with popular upgrades including a 3,500-pound winch, mirrors, hand guards and 27 inch tires. The one downside is that there is no aparent upgrades over last years model, however it has released without a price hike which is a plus. Overall it is a fair option if cost isn't a concern, even with its shortcoming in overall value.

Polaris Sportsman Sport Models

Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 S

The Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 S is the wider, aggressive cousin the the standard Sportsman. At 55" in width it is approximately 7" wider which gives an extra touch of stability for those doing intense riding over rough terrain. With the additional girth comes additional weight at almost 200lbs extra from the standard model. Despite its weight, the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 S pulls and handles with ease with its impressive build quality. If you're looking for the monster of 2023 from Polaris, this is the machine for you.

Polaris Sportsman Scrambler 850

The Scrambler 850 is an all-terrain vehicle with a sporty character, boasting an 850cc fuel-injected twin-cylinder engine from the Sportsman 850 and dual A-arm suspension for navigating rocky terrain. It has a 1,500-pound towing capacity which is plenty but unfortunately its price has increased this year and with no power steering, it is a far worse value than last years model.

Polaris Sportsman Scrambler XP 1000 S

The 2023 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 S is a fair choice for those who need both power and stability on the toughest terrain. With its big 89hp engine, the Scrambler is sure to sling plenty of sand. Following in the S model path, its 55-inch width provides excellent stability for rock crawling. That said, it may be too wide for OHV width restrictions and tight trails that are better suited for 50-inches-and-under ATVs. The Duro Power Grip II tires also add to the Scrambler's stability and performance. Overall, if you need a reliable and powerful all-terrain vehicle, the Scrambler XP 1000 S is a fair option however there may be better options with more dexterity out there.

Overall, the 2023 Polaris ATV lineup boasts a great selection for those looking for a reliable and affordable all-terrain vehicle. With their powerful engines, innovative designs, and advanced safety features, these models are sure to please. The only downside we note is that the Scrambler models remain largely unchanged and are still lacking overall, especially given a boosted price point. Still, if you’re looking for a powerful workhorse, a light and agile hunter, or a family-friendly cruiser, the Polaris Sportsman ATV lineup has a bit of something for everyone.
